Joshua House Fund Build 2011
by Corey Bates on 07/10/11Joshua House Fund's volunteers returned home on June 25th having successfully built another house for a deserving family. This year's build was a little more special for the trip veterans, as we built for Doug Ridener, our builder for the past few years. We had no idea how much he needed a house until someone else came forward for him. Choosing him and his family was an easy decision.
This year's build was one of the most successful so far - we even got started on insulation! The week went way too fast, as it always does.
While we do look forward to next year's trip, we have much to do in order to get there. A long year of fundraising and deciding on our next house recipient awaits. Help, whether in physical labor, planning, or donations is always appreciated. You can donate via credit card right on the site! Just click on the donate tab.
A more detailed post about this year's build is coming soon. Until then, check out the pictures from the trip under the Photo Gallery tab.
Thanks!!
